Tracking the Comète

During World War Two many British and Allied flyers were shot-down over occupied Europe. Many were captured by the Germans and sent to Prisoner of War camps, but some evaded capture and were able to make it back to Britain with the help of secretive organisations who set themselves the task of fighting the forces of the Third Reich by organising and maintaing safe-houses and escape lines. One of these was called the Comète Line. This blog consists of my research into that organisation.
